Where will your money go?
COVID-19 Emergency Fund ($25,000)
To support 200 London Muslim families that are not receiving funding from any other sources.
Youth Engagement ($25,000)
To support Programming to effectively engage our Muslim Youth throughout the year.
Islamic Education ($100,000)
QHP subsidies - $50,000 to sponsor 100 students for one year to memorize the Quran and increase their Islamic Knowledge.
Operational Support ($100,000)
To cover essential staff salaries, hydro/ga bills, equipment leases, and other expenses during the pandemic when donations are at an all-time low.
Future Investment ($100,000)
To support future investment opportunities to expand our resources and capacity of our programs and services.
LIS subsidies - $50,000 to subsidize the tuition for 40 students attending the full-time London Islamic School thereby increasing their Islamic education.
What impact will our donations have?
a. Operational support – to help the LMM expenses when donations are at an all-time low due to pandemic. To cover our administrative overhead like hydro and gas bills, equipment leases, and part of the salaries of our essential staff.
b. Londoners in Need – to support London Muslims that require financial assistance due to this pandemic, and are not receiving any other/governmental funding. To support 200 families in need during these difficult times.
a. QHP subsidies – $50,000 will go to sponsor 100 students for one year to memorize the Quran and increase their Islamic knowledge.
b. LIS subsidies - $50,000 will subsidies the tuition for 40 students attending the full-time London Islamic School thereby increasing their Islamic education.
a. $25,000 will go towards supporting programs to effectively engage out Muslim Youth and bring them to the Mosque thereby allowing them to create memorable, Islamic experiences and lifelong friendships with their peers.
b. Funding supports the activities of the Muslim Youth Committee and their programs including youth athletic programs, youth Eid festivals, youth sleep-overs and Qiyams, etc.
a. It will help us maintain essential staff salaries, Hydro/ gas bills, leases and many other regular expenses during the crisis.
a. To support future investment opportunities to expand our resources and capacity at the London Muslim Mosque in order to support our daily activities and our successful and at-capacity Islamic Education programs, including LIS, WLIS, and QHP
